The time has come to give credit where credit is due. Our very own CHARMING and TALENTED MARY ALICE PATTERSON is our MYSTERY LADY. Mary Alice has been a part of ON A WHIM for over 3 years now. She is my shop manager in charge when I am not there. Not only does she do a terrific job as my manager, but as you can see, she is also very talented and has a great eye for decorating. You may recognize in the photo she is in her past home upstairs before she joined us downstairs. Up or down, she does a marvelous job for ON A WHIM. Her new area on the ground floor is a great new look for ON A WHIM. MARY ALICE is a great asset in every aspect. THANK YOU MARY ALICE FOR ALL YOU DO. I don't know what I would do without you. I LUV YA GIRLFRIEND....

We at On A Whim welcome you. I have started this blog so you can keep in touch with what's happening at ON A WHIM. I will be posting pictures of new merchandise on a weekly basis and letting you know of upcoming events, such as SALES and much more. You will be able to call On A Whim at 703-771-4844 and buy items shown on the blog over the phone with a credit card at any time during shop hours. WE ARE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, MON. and TUES. 11:00 til 4:00, WED. 10:00 to 4:00, and THURS. thru SUNDAY 10:00 til 5:00. You can also call at any time to request an item you are looking for to be put on your wish list. We offer decorating consulting, custom upholstery and slipcovers. We also offer custom painting. We are a one stop decorating shop for your home. ON A WHIM is very proud of the fact that we house numerous gifted female artists with very unique talents. We also pride ourselves in the fact that all our furniture is recycled and house ready. So come in and FURNISH YOUR DREAMS WITH US....
